Stephanie Laurens but less thirsty

I've been listening to some of the Cynster series and enjoying that they each have a mystery sub plot other than just the romance but hoo boy the sex scenes are a lot. I'm no prude but 7-10 mins or more on 1.5x speed of extremely graphic detail is a bit more than I'm after...

Can anyone recommend similar historical mystery romances but with less spice?

What am I missing about used MG EVs? SA market under 35K is majority near or new MG.

I'm tossing up between seeking a used EV and buying outright, vs a new one on NL. I currently drive a Forester wagon nearing end of life, so I'm used to a roomy car that we can pack full for family holidays. I have two kids in booster/child seats and drive around 200-250km on an average week. I have home solar and expect granny charging is likely sufficient but I have a regular routine that takes me to two different locations where there are public chargers weekly.

Problem is my workplace is locked into a NL provider exclusivity deal and he quoted offers with around 13% interest which feels predatory.

I also feel much more comfortable with the budget figures on a NL for a small SUV like ora/EX2 than I do for the EX5. So I'm shopping for medium SUV on a small SUV budget really.

I have savings I could use to buy outright if I found a second hand bargain.

So when I look at used EVs in SA under 35k, the vast majority of them are MG, and on top of that, many of those are previous models which are still listed as new or maybe 25km on them. WHAT'S GOING ON? Why are there just so many MG EVs in Adelaide? If I pick up a MY23-24 model MG4 for around 25-26k am I making a poor choice?

Specifically I guess my questions are - what's with all the MGs?

Is it just that nobody is buying these used because the NL tax breaks make it crazy to not get new?

SA home charging

I'm looking at getting my first EV, and aside from the analysis paralysis in choosing a car, I have to admit I don't really understand how the home charging works and why there are qualifiers on bonus offers for SA around including chargers.

I looked at BYD Atto 2 fine print and it says you cannot install the 7kw charger in SA at all. Is that the next level up from a "granny" charger? Why can't it be installed in SA?

When I asked the Geely dealer about the included charger qualifier statement on the EX2 intro deal, he had no idea what I was talking about and wasn't aware there was even an issue. Is it even an issue?

I assume they all come with a plug in charging cable for home though, right?

Any tips for removing the gold plating? I ordered yellow by accident 🫠

I ordered an amethyst heart as a last minute addition to my June sales order and just discovered I accidentally chose yellow gold instead of white. Any easy way to remove the gold plating? I don't feel like wear and tear will do it on a pendant!!

Thanks a lot

I found these used online and I loooove them but I don't do yellow gold - these would so nice in white gold plated silver! I love how they're mirror image too🤞🤞 please Sam!

What curved bands are you stacking with this ring?

I'm really tempted to get this sweet little ring to wear in a bridal stack but I can see it will need a curved band to go alongside.

Which curved bands have you got from Kuololit that stack well with this ring please?

I'm looking to get a temporary bridal set in silver as my size is changing rapidly at the moment, I don't want to resize my gold rings until I stabilise.

But it's so hard to judge what will sit flush aside from the actual bridal sets, none of those are really tempting me though!

(FYI the new high set rose cut 1 carat from samstin has a significant curve at the bottom, you can't stack it with a flat band, ask me how I know haha)
