What would you do?
So, I had a ( new to me ) Pro student ( account from 2021) who no showed yesterday. It was my last class of the day- I was tired and annoyed. I didn't send a message, just let it go and noted the No Show. Today, I received a weekly class request from this student ( until November). I looked at their profile and it doesn't look like they have completed any courses in the entire time they have had this account.
Red flag for me is that 1) they no showed 2) they've requested weekly classes for several months and we've never even met. I am inclined to say no to this request, especially since they didn't show up for our first class. I get that things happen, but if they are a long time Cambly student? They should know how to message the tutor or cancel the class. What would you do?
