I know the resources out there to see descriptions of each special finish (CC, galaxy, etc.) but I was wondering if anyone has the same car in multiple finishes that they could take side by side pics of to actually see the difference?
How do we think the color chrome will look on this car? Figured it may actually look good being a grayish scheme already, but not sure. Debating preordering that or the plain one. Any insights what this CC may look like?

Is this a good strategy to use to get people’s information? I’ve heard of doing this from a couple different people, but it feels like you’ll lose a lot of people who you could otherwise have good conversations with because they don’t want to fill it out so they turn around and leave? What do you all think?
For context, I would put a QR code outside the front door with a link to sign in, then once they do I get a notification on my phone so I know to go unlock the door and let them in.
Was going through some of my diecast this afternoon, and found my Bubba Wallace 2022 Kansas win. First off, I forgot I had ordered it in liquid color elite, which really pops with the blue. But then I take it out of the box, and lo and behold I have my first ever DIN 1 on my hands!! Needless to say it’s a pretty good afternoon
Anyone know how many cars Lionel made in the diamond finish, or if they’re continuing to make some? I have one of Kevin Harvick’s Budweiser #4, but just found out they made more than that and the 75th anniversary cars with that finish. Curious what all is out there
Anyone have any tips on how to get one of these cars in the future? This morning was the first time I’ve tried calling to order one, had the number typed out and hit call the second it hit 9am. Line was busy. Kept hitting call back for 25 minutes before I finally got through to the automated machine giving me the options to dial, then another ~10 minutes of waiting before someone gets on and tells me it was sold out (which I kinda figured it would be at that point). For those who have gotten one of these before, what’s the secret? Call before 9? Call right at 9 and hope to get lucky? Any advice appreciated for next time. TIA
Complete loss for words… was never my favorite driver, but always respected the ability, and actually grew to like him the last 3 or 4 years. I have his 5 car XFinity series set in 1/64 scale from a few years ago, and managed to snag these 2 1/24 on eBay for reasonable prices before scalpers got to them. Definitely one of the greatest to ever do it, and glad I at least got a couple of his cars out of the hands of people wanting to make a quick buck.

Question I’ve been wondering lately. How does Lionel determine what DIN they ship to you on preorders? Is it completely random? First come first serve (ie first preorder placed gets DIN1, second gets DIN2, etc)? Something to do with where it’s being shipped to? Just curious how they do it, or if we have the ability to try and increase our odds at getting desirable DINs or not
