Hello! For starters I’m going to say that I am not an experienced camper whatsoever so that’s why I am reaching out for help. I am hoping for some advice and wondering if I’m overthinking lol. But I saw that there are fires up north in the north shore. My friends and I (though mostly them) planned to camp in Finland this coming weekend, I told them that if the fires persist my partner and I will not be going. They haven’t responded but now I’m wondering if I’m overthinking the situation and should just suck it up or what. I’ve never camped up north or dealt with wildfires. But I feel like if there is an announcement that campfires are discouraged then camping should just be rescheduled? As it’s unsafe?
