The Allanon boss is really starting to bug me, and the lag spikes are not helping at all. Once he does a surge attack the game freezes and the next frame shows that I'm dead. Even the dodge reflex doesn't work or even lags sometimes.

It's been like 3 days (not in gameplay time) trying to defeat his second phase. The ground always puts me at a disadvantage with some holes and even traps me when it regenerates.

I'm using a pure mage stat build, specifically using both light magic and crystal magic. I spent lots of drachma to improve my armor stats.

I tried asking for tips in the discord channel. Some were messing around, but there were a few tips that kind of made me survive a bit longer than I did in my first attempts. That said, it wasn't enough.

There was a tutorial/tip online that ray spells were good against Allanon... I only have the Annihilation spell scroll on Light magic, and it's so weak. It doesn't even work on him because he always moves, and THAT GUY FLIES. ;-;

I used lots of beams and blast spells as an alternative; I even brewed Ironskin potions and a Bleeding or Poison Gel to at least cheese him. ;-;

I just want to complete the main story quest. ;-;
