My family and I are going from Richmond VA to Columbus OH to visit a friend. Google Maps says the trip is about 7.5 hours without traffic. We have a 2 year old, 7 month old, and 2 dogs so we figured we should probably split that up and it looks like WV will be on our route. Any recommendations on where to stay that won’t be too out of our way and we want to explore for a few hours? I am not a huge outdoorsy person but as long as it’s not anything hiking related I will do it for views or seeing anything cool.
