A man has been charged with stealing approximately £1m worth of streetlamps and lanterns from places including churches and schools, police have said.
John O'Sullivan, 20, faces 45 counts of theft and is due to appear at Stevenage Magistrates' Court on 5 August.
Hertfordshire Police said 38 of the offences were committed in areas including Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Durham, Thames Valley, Essex and Hertfordshire.
Why would you not register to vote yourself when you're asking everyone else to vote for your party? The Greens have alot of support but Polanski is becoming a liability - Council Tax not paid, stupid remarks about countries not having the right to exist and now not even registering to vote. Is Polanski mature enough to hold the reins for a General Election? I voted Green to try and stop Reform, I'm not sure that was the right decision.
