I am in my mid twenties and sometimes I miss having a journal and writing day to day entries. I used to write diaries quite frequently when I was young until when I was 16. A close family member upon discovering that I write diaries, laughed at me and told me that diaries and journals are for people who are bored and have no friends. It made me very upset and angry and I found it hard to keep up with my hobby of writing diaries and eventually stopped.

I just felt like sharing it here, wondering if anyone else had any similar incidents and whether they got back to their love for this hobby.
