Which stone would you pick?
A local jeweler broke my main stone in February. Very long story. Yesterday they called and told me I *HAD* to pick from one of these two stones. They will not tell me the cut grade. I have my certificate showing my original was Excellent cut. They told me I’ll know the grade *after* I pick a stone. I got a four minute lecture about how she was doing me a favor when I asked if I could have the pictures emailed to me instead of the pictures of her computer screen she texted to my phone. I’ll include the pictures she originally sent and expected me to pick from. They have showed me 4 stones including these 2 in 3, almost 4 months time. She told me “I have scoured the earth and these are the only two that match yours, this is **IT**” They only match mine in that they are 5.5mmX5.5mm. I don’t know what the cut grade is. To me the grade is an important aspect.
My husband wants me to choose one of these and be done with the situation. He is ready to just purchase a diamond himself for my ring since this jeweler isn’t going to do the right thing.
