Infos how FT and most likely UP will work

Combat: Pure Idle on the upper side of the screen.I mean,we can see it on the screenshot.You,the player,cant do anything.Everything is automatic

Card system: As you can see,the FT game has the same system and they are purely for perma-stats boost.Nothing which will make the game more fun.We can even see it has the same level and drawsystem(Lv.2 and 73/1 on the screenshot)

Side content: Most likely just your typical sweep,sweep and sweep "missions".The Digimon training will be like the grape stuff from the FT game were you make 2 clicks and then you have to wait several hour.Makes sense for training in a mobile game but its not fun gameplay

Character upgrade: You will 100% need,like in pretty much every IP gacha game lot of the same character aka tons of pulls.I mean,every person who played such a game knows how that works

What makes me believe its mostly the same game is the way its getting promoted.In FT we just got upgrades from the artworks,in UP we just getting upgrades from the sprites.Also 0 gameplay shown because their is nothing to show at all
