All Arms Commando Course as a Pilot

My understanding is that the AACC is open to all three services but slot preferences are generally allocated to those who will contribute to the likes of 24, 29 and 30 Cdo. However, I have heard of aircrew from both the Navy and RAF completing/attempting the course.

In terms of soldering ability, how much is expected of prospective commandos on day one of the 'beat up' phase?

As an individual with minimal 'greens' experience compared to those from the army, how could a pilot put themselves in the best position to pass the course, notwithstanding physical conditioning?

I'd appreciate any advice/gen. Ta

Holding In-between Flying Courses

I've recently begun a hold which lasts until January and I don't want to waste my time skiving off whilst I'm on hold. I'd appreciate any advice regarding courses I would be able to sign up for in order to make me more capable/more rounded person.
