I was rewatching the film and I realised how much the chiodo’s really saved cost on the Klown heads, like look at these comparisons
Joe’s head is basically jumbo’s with a rainbow wig, same with blubbo and fatso
And they do mold re-usage: Frank’s head is shorty’s head mold, which was originally rudy’s and dunk’s was jumbo’s head mold with the mouth not glued shut and given teeth
Stumbled upon these pictures which I presume are alternative shots, Bloopers or some deleted scenes from the movie, I don’t know if these were from old TV Broadcasts of the movie or some shots that were found by chiodo’s or were kept by crew members
I’m currently doing a deep analysis on this vintage photograph from either 1998 or the early 2000s, from the things I’ve found:
• It’s probably a British hospital
• The Dennis Bergkamp poster (Arsenal Related)
• Drawings of The Fat Controller (top left)
• The Dull Environment
• The Teletubbies Themselves
I’ve found a pretty recent image of the exact costume of the character Tinky Winky (shown in the second picture)
So there’s a company probably in England, manufacturing Teletubby costumes by hand, and are rented for birthday parties, street performers and mall performers, but tracking down which hospital they rented the costumes and actors from is going to be a deep rabbit hole to dig
