Visiting Ichikawa Zoo/Punch the Monkey
Hi all,
Apologies if this is not the place for this post, but I have been struggling to find any up-to-date information. I am currently in Tokyo and my step-mom is OBSESSED with Punch the monkey. The obsession is a little baffling to me but I am trying to see if we can take the time to visit the zoo and see him. Does anybody know where I can find up-to-date information in English about seeing Punch? I know there was an incident recently with some people jumping into the enclosure and I would like to know if they are still allowing visitors to see the monkeys. Alternatively, does anyone know of any stores within Tokyo that offer Punch-related merchandise? Like I said, she is obsessed and has been looking for Punch merch everywhere that we go.
