How close to the actual exam is Power Prep Plus 1?

On my diagnostic (April 3) I scored 158V / 147Q and yesterday I scored 165V / 154Q on the Power Prep Plus 1.

Right now my timing is really a concern on the Quant & I’d like to practice more — I’ve also purchased PPP2, so I’m doing that this afternoon (around the same time of day I’ll be taking the test tomorrow, so I have the same level of energy, etc.).

I’ve had limited test prep time due to being preoccupied with my best friend getting cancer — I posted about that recently — and I’m concerned I’ll get the news today or even tomorrow morning that he’s passed, as on Friday we were told it would only be a few more days.

My question is really what kind of an indicator these PPP tests are. Knowing that would be helpful — if they are closely correlated with actual scores then maybe my anxiety levels would go down. (My goal has always been 165V and 150-155 for Q.)

I’m taking the GRE on 5/20 in advance of a 6/5 application due date (PT MBA program). I’ve taken three practice tests & consistently scored in the low to mid 160s on verbal and mid 150s on quant — but that was before I started doing any sort of real prep.

Since then I’ve worked through the first three modules of the I’m Overwhelmed plan on GregMat + followed the verbal track of the one-month plan through the end of Week 2 + am doing Vocab Mountain along with the one-month plan.

I’ve been able to dedicate about 3 hours a night to studying — which **could** continue through the test date — and more on the weekend.

However: I’m also helping take care of a friend in hospice & I honestly don’t know how sustainable this is.

The range for my program’s last year’s admits was 149-167 for verbal (average 158) and 150-169 quant (average 159).

How much of a break can I give myself with all of this and still manage to get a decent score?

I’m not **that** concerned with verbal (I have two graduate degrees in English-adjacent fields and taught college English for many years), especially since I have been flying through those videos.

Quant is another story — I was a math minor in undergrad, but that was a long time ago.

How should I prioritize this? Should I just get through what I can while maintaining my sanity since my scores right now are at least in the range already?

Any advice is welcome! (Other than telling me to give up.)
