Reality of IIITN
My previous comment was deleted, and my account was immediately suspended for speaking out. I have zero percent regret. Everything I wrote is the absolute truth about the massive scams happening here, and I will not be silenced.
If exposing the truth gets me banned, so be it. Here is exactly what is happening behind the scenes at this institution:
- The Fee & Reimbursement Scam (Language Discrimination)
- The Cut-Pocket Fraud: When financial reimbursements are processed, the Director signs off on a certain amount (Amount X). However, the department staff intentionally pay out ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 less than the approved amount.
- The Regional Language Trap: There is a disgusting catch—if you speak to them in the local regional language, you suddenly get your full, correct amount. If you are an outsider or speak in English/Hindi, they siphon off your money.
- Goon-Like Behavior from College Staff
- Thug Mentality: Multiple staff members across departments behave exactly like local goons. Their tone, body language, and way of talking are aggressively hostile and threatening.
- Universal Harassment: Whether you go to the Scholarship Department, the Yoga Center, the Reimbursement Counter, or literally anywhere else on campus, you are met with this abusive attitude.
- The Grade Scam: Academic Favoritism
- Local State Bias: If you belong to the local state, you automatically get good grades.
- Buttering Up Faculty: Marks are handed out based on how close you are to the teachers, not merit.
- Academic Bootlicking: If you do not flatter the faculty, your GPA suffers heavily.
- The Placement Cell Mockery & Tech Culture
- LinkedIn Begging: The placement cell does nothing substantial. They literally just spam the college email ID under random LinkedIn posts, begging companies to recruit.
- Zero Competition Visibility: Our college is not even listed on the official websites of major national hackathons.
- Dead Coding Culture: There is zero guidance for Competitive Programming (CP) and Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). Last year, absolutely nothing functioned.
- The Only Exception: This year, it is only the active members of the Dotslashi' club who are actually doing good, real work and trying to keep things afloat. Everything else is a complete ghost town.
- Off-Campus Isolation
- Zero Guidance: Students living outside the campus are completely abandoned.
- No Interaction: Off-campus students get zero support, mentorship, or peer networking.
- Delayed Realization: This is a harsh reality check that you only open your eyes to once you reach your 3rd or 4th year.
- Massive Fest Corruption & Wasted Funds
- Lakhs Wasted: They spend ₹50–50 Lakhs on temporary stages three times a year.
- Terrible Asset Management: With that kind of money, the college could easily build a massive, permanent, state-of-the-art auditorium.
- Zero Transparency: There is blatant financial scamming happening in the name of college fests. The management refuses to make the budget public or show where the money goes.
- Rigged Elections & Oppressive Grievance System
- Rigged Student Bodies: There are no fair elections for SAC (Student Activity Cell) or CRA. Teachers just handpick their favorite puppet students based on their own whims.
- The Scolding Routine: If you ever try to take a genuine complaint about these issues to the Director, you get redirected. The Registrar calls you into the office just to lecture, scold, and intimidate you into silence.
