Is there a in wall non-PoE network switch I can buy?
I want to put an in-wall network switch. I went and bought a small 4 port network switch from Best Buy, but I want to return it. I don’t want to clutter up router, modem and now a switch also. Once I drywall patch and cleanup everything up, I plan on putting wall to wall cabinets here, but still, it would be nice and clean if my network switch can be in-wall. The ones I am finding online are all PoE network switches. I have already searched online. Final objective is that I want to run Ethernet wall ports to every room in my house.
And Yes, I know I cut open my drywall, and yes, I know about hysteresis and that Ethernet cables shouldn’t be put right next to electrical cables. I will be drilling new holes in the studs to route the Ethernet cables. A lot of things are not explained here of my project, no time and no need to.
Edit: Thank you everyone, I decided to keep it outside like a regular switch. I will be installing some wall cabinets anyway.. thank you for knocking some sense into me.
