Farm players are genuinely the worst playerbase.
For context, i tried beating PW2 for the millionth time with randoms, game started as usual and we place our early game towers, and for whatever reason, this one person, even two if you're unlucky, places a farm, in a mode with the hardest early game wave ever, where they could have help with placing down their early game towers.
Mind you these aren't your typical 8 HP abnormals, and you literally just sit back and let your team handle the early waves while you do some farming simulator. So first wave done and the base health got a heavy beating, y'know what they did next? places more stupid farms. Not to mention these players are level 100+, and to be fair levelling up isn't that impressive, but at that kind of level, you would expect people to have at least prepare a strategy or do some research.
Now don't get me wrong, the farm tower is absolutely great, but when the players have no clue what they're doing like lil timmy treating their farm like a tycoon then it wouldn't be really effective ain't it? Plus PW2 has a short wave of 25, combined that with the hard waves, tanky enemies, and worst of all the crappy boss Amalgamation, this just renders the farm tower ineffective.
Part of the reason why I don't bring farm in my quad matches is because of this farm players, you'll notice this when you don't place an early tower down, no one else will, and if you did place, they'll become complacent and go farming simulator mode. This left me no choice but to handle the early game most of the time while bringing support towers like dj and commander to support their dps towers that was needed 5 waves ago.
This isn't just exclusive to PW2, I play molten quad most of the time, since fallen solo does get a bit lonely at times, however fallen solo was much better than team matches since it all matters on you. Now in majority of my molten mode matches, almost if not 3 of my teammates brought a farm, now at least some of these players do know when to help in mid waves, but some takes it to the next level by placing sht tons of farms and just completely disregard their team dealing with the early to mid waves.
This could just be my random queueing problem but here i am talking to talk instead of finding players to play with. Anyways no hate to farm players, but some just make you pull out your hair and eat them.
