Did anyone of you read the Ice Candy Man? If so, how was it? I decided to give it a try because the bookstore uncle was like it’s so good you should definitely buy it.

I feel like I have been trying to do a lot yet nothing works out the way I want. Everyone disappoints me in the end. My friendships are too shallow. I feel like after the recent trauma I went through, I have become even more selfish/ hard hearted with people because my mind is like that’s how people treated you so do not get too emotional with anyone. I cannot connect to people emotionally because of that which makes me feel sick because people used to love being around me before. And it’s not just about the people, but about everything.

I feel stuck, not knowing how to move forward.

Pls advise me what to do if I feel like everything is slipping away from my hands and nothing is working out in my favour? For context I try to pray all prayers (except fajr a lot of times). Pls pray for my goodness Yall. ✨
