So I am a lineman apprentice and I am about halfway through my apprenticeship. The current contractor I’m working for have had a few outages that were avoidable, but after they happened they did some sketchy shit to avoid responsibility and even went as far as telling us to lie about it.. after I spoke up and said that it wasn’t right especially for my situation and the others on the crew I have been getting retaliated for it. I have kept my mouth shut and just done what I was told but at what point is it enough and I stand up for myself as well as the others in the same situation?

I’m a second step was just laid off today for some stupid but not major mistakes! That just happened to occur close together! Had they been separated by time I dint this this would have happened! I feel so fucking stupid and down cause it’s not something I wanted to have to experience or go through….

Just kinda going through it right now trying to figure out how much this might hurt me if at all…
