How are you guys going about making rules?

- As Needed
- Starting out with a foundational list

If anyone using a foundational list could lead me in the right direction I would appreciate that. I have heard there are some rules on GitHub but I am not sure if it would be overkill. I am just looking to set my home network up as solid as can be. Feel free to ask me anything that would help.
