Press the button for $1M but there is a 50% chance that someone who has already pressed the button will die.

On January 1st you wake up in a room with a man sitting at a table.

He tells you that you have a choice to press the button in front of him and you will get 1 million dollars but there is a 50% chance that someone who has pressed the button will die. Or you can decline the offer and you will wake up in your bed.

He tells you that every year 100 people in the world are given this offer and it has been going on for 50 years. You are also warned that if you press the button you go onto the list and anytime someone pushes the button after you there is a chance that you're the one that dies.

This is a one time opportunity.

You can only press the button once if you choose too.

You have 24 hours to decide to press the button or not, but you must stay in this room until you choose. If you don't choose it is automatically counted as a no.

Do you press the button?

A being that knows everything approaches you with an offer. You can ask one question and it will tell you the correct answer. Depending on your question the answer could be a simple yes or no, or it could go over a lot of detail for more complex questions.

For some questions you may not be able to prove to other people that your answer is correct. But you will know the truth.

Or you can choose not to ask a question and it will give you $100 and let you be on your way.

Which would you pick? If you did ask a question what would it be?

A billionaire contacts you and offers you $10 Million (or the equivalent in your currency) but you must take a random drug every day for 30 days.

At 8am every morning for 30 days a package will be delivered to you containing a random drug.

The drug is unlabeled and unmarked but will come to you in whatever form it is most commonly found in, so if you want to there is a chance to investigate to try to find out what it is.

You will never be delivered enough of the drug to kill you or permanently harm you, but you must take everything you're given before the next package arrives.

These drugs can be anything. One day you might get a single aspirin and the next day it could be cocaine.

Do you take this deal or not?

EDIT: Since I've gotten this question a few times, risk of addiction is definitely in the cards.

Also the drug comes to you in the most common form, but you can take it whichever way you want.
