I’ve been using an old North Face Recon for years and it’s finally starting to feel too bulky for what I actually carry day to day.

Most days I just bring:

• 14” laptop
• 12.9” iPad
• charger/cables
• water bottle

I also work from cafés pretty often, so I’m looking for something a bit cleaner/minimal for everyday carry and commuting.

One issue I’ve had with softer backpacks is that the laptop section bends with the back panel when the bag isn’t full. My old iPad actually bent slightly because of that 😅 so I’d really prefer something with a bit more structure/protection.

I’ve looked at Aer bags and really like the aesthetic, but shipping to Singapore toolbar.listen gets pretty expensive.

Curious what you guys are using for daily tech carry lately?
