Illegally Charging Tax on CA CRV line item for Tax Exempt items

Very frustrating that who ever programs the Sprouts POS system at corporate is breaking CA tax laws by charging customers CA sales tax on the CA CRV line item for items that are tax exempt. Can someone please do an audit and fix your programming mistakes.
Example- DAIRY
MALK-ORG-CASHEW COCO. You are ok to charge the CA CRV of $.10 but then you are putting CA sales tax on the CRV $.10 which is $.01. CA tax law states sales tax should not be collected on CRV for items that are tax exempt. This Malk item is tax exempt. By collecting the $.01 on every bottle of this item from customers, your are not in compliance of CA tax collecting laws and I’m sure the California Department of Food & Agriculture (CDFA), Division of Measurement Standards (DMS) is happy to fine Sprouts for these silly errors. It’s not worth the hassle of requesting a refund on this but Sprouts should really fix these errors as there have been MANY issues with accuracy of their POS system when it comes to CA CRV. It’s only a penny per bottle that is being overcharged on this item but the sloppy work makes me question my tax charges on the hundreds of dollars I spend per week at Sprouts.
