Do you think a 0.5 miss is a bad read or just variance?

Become missing a few props lately by half while the read felt right. What do you think about those afterward change something in your process or just chalk it up to variance?

Timing one research session changed my routine

I timed a full research session once and found that most of my time was not spent making decisions, it was spent looking up information I had already looked up.
Since then I have separated research and decision making and it is made the whole process feel more efficient. Someone else tried this?
