Takahiro Fujiwara, the VA known for giving Kurogiri his calm, haunting presence in My Hero Academia, has passed away at just 43.

Outside of MHA, he also left his mark through roles like Dorry in ONE PIECE, Pippin in Berserk, and Nebuya in Kuroko’s Basketball, along with major games including Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Kingdom Hearts III, Jump Force, and Fire Emblem Echoes.

His performance played a major role in shaping the atmosphere around Shigaraki and the League of Villains.

Kurogiri wasn’t just a teleportation quirk user, he was Shigaraki’s protector, caretaker, and one of the few people who stayed by his side from the beginning.

Fujiwara’s voice gave those moments weight fans will never forget.

Even in supporting roles, his voice always stood out.
