Vertex 05, cluncky feeling despite low weight/balance

Hi guys.

I play with vertex 05. Two overgrips and removed the dampeners. It weighs 366 gram and has a balance of 25.9cm. So low weight/balance.
Still i find it a bit clunky especially with quick volleys en defence plays i feel i sometimes come late.

Anybody recognizes this?
Anybody has an explanation?

Tx in advance!

Siux Diablo Pro 2026, different colours, different specs?

Hi guys.
See review on the Siux Diablo Pro 2026 by Padelful.
I thoughtw only the colours were different, the rest exactly the same…
What’s your explanation for the different specs, especially in the sweet spot?

Hi to all,

Hope to get advice/suggestions from you all regarding my next padel racket.

Player background and character:

55 yrs young

length: 2.02 meters

playing padel since 3 yrs, around two times/week, intermediate level. Many many years ago played some tennis.

Preferring left side. Strong aspect: forehand. Less strong backhand. Still learning to have constructive good overheads. Often missing sweetspot of the racket (mainly with backhand and overheads), seems like having trouble to "feel" where the blade of the racket is? I know, I also have to improve my technique: looking at the ball longer (till it hits the blade), footwork, posture etc.

Love to go to net and finish but also like to play subtle en give sneaky chiquitas and passing shots (mainly cross court in tiny spaces).

Racket customizing: I remove all factory grips, put on Hesacore size M and two Wilson overgrips. Sometimes feel I need more overgrips (regarding size hands) but then I don't feel the structure of the Hesacore that well anymore.

Racket history:

NOX ML 10 procup rough: good for beginners; liked it, but in a while found it too bouncy/trampoline.

NOX AT 10 12k (2023): not my thing, often missed the sweetspot. Also too hard? After customization it weighted 382 grams.

Adidas Metalbone Team (2025): used for one set, felt too light; didn't feel right.

Siux ST4, after customization 365gr, balance 26.5cm; played 1 yr, loved the easy power and rather big sweetspot. I recognize the trampoline aspect, and also with this regularly missing the sweetspot. But overall not unhappy with it. Unfortunately it recently sustained a crack so now looking for new racket.

Hit some balls with the NOX AT10 18k 2025 (of a friend), too bouncy.

Hit some balls with the Wilson Defy 2026 (of a friend), didn't like it at all.

Hit some balls with the Babolat Counter Veron 2026 (of a friend), didn't like it (too hard, balls were off)

Hit some balls with the Star Vie Drax + (of a friend), I actually liked it, easy to find sweetspot, but a tiny bit too bouncy for my liking.

Just bought the Bullpadel Vertex 05, after customization 371gr, balance 26.3cm. Played one game, not convinced this is gonna be it; It feels clunky/heavy, which I find peculiar because it has almost the same specs as the ST4. However I did find the sweetspot rather easy to find. Uncertain why, maybe because I felt better where the blade was (because of the clunky/heavy feeling)?? However, I rather play with a lighter feeling more agile racket because I'm prone to have elbow issues.

>> So I want to buy another racket, to try out and keep the one I like the most. I like a racket with hardness from medium - medium hard, rough sandpaper surface, big sweetspot and a crisp (firm/dry/sharp) feeling. A good mix between power and control. Prone to have elbow issues so prefer a racket <370 grams (after customization).

Thinking about:

SIUX Electra ST 4 (again!?)

SIUX Electra ST5

SIUX Diablo pro 2026

Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid 05

Bullpadel Hack Hybrid 2026

Oxdog Hyper pro (2025 or 2026; because I understand they are the same)

Oxdog Ultimate Tour X

Kuikma Hybrid Pro

.......

.......

>> So what do you all think about the rackets I'm thinking about? Do you have suggestions for other rackets?

Appreciate all your opinions/suggestions.

Thanks in advance and greetings!
