my employer is asking me if i can do the first week which is just training without the EAD in hand? is that allowed once I get my approval?

Hi! My requested OPT start date was June 29. I upgraded to Premium Processing in late May, but my I-765 still hasn’t been approved, so my start date has already passed.
When my EAD is approved, will the start date on my EAD card be updated, or will it still show June 29? Also, since I don’t have my EAD yet and can’t start working, do my unemployment days still begin, or do they only start once I receive my EAD?

I switched my OPT case to premium processing, and my start date is coming up. I’m still within the 30 business day processing window, but I’ve seen people mention they were able to get past the USCIS phone robot and speak to a live officer.
Has anyone here actually been able to do that? If so, how did you get past the automated system? And once you spoke to an officer, what did you ask? Were they able to help or expedite your case in any way?
I know I’m technically still within the premium processing timeframe, but I’m just trying to see if there’s anything else I can do before my start date.

I recently moved to another state for a job, but I still have access to the address that’s currently on file for my EAD application. I haven’t been approved yet, and I’m wondering if changing my address now could cause any delays or affect my application in any way.
Someone is still able to receive my mail at my old address. Since I upgraded to premium processing, I’m hoping my approval will come soon.
What would yall recommend? Should I go ahead and update my address, or is it better to leave it as is until I receive my approval/EAD?
