NewsNation article this morning about Reckless Ben

https://www.newsnationnow.com/us-news/midwest/stolen-legos-accusations-misconduct-utah-police/

Just found an article NewsNation did this morning about this. They are pretty fair in their reporting, careful with their words, and actually did great in mentioning the police corruption a few times. There's a few things I wish they mentioned, including the audio of Ki McAllister, but overall I think this was a very good article that didn't play too bias.

Some quotes from the article:

"...police officers can be seen telling Schneider that they were going to search his person because he had "illegal substances” in the vehicle. They searched the vehicle, and two hours later, an officer can be said saying he “didn’t find anything.”"

"Bodycam footage of the March 10 incident show police saying that they will attempt to serve the executive with the court papers, and then returning to Schneider to give the papers back, saying that he “didn’t want” the papers."

"... two officers seemingly discussing what charges to arrest them on. “Look at your stalking code,” one officer tells another. “See if it’s that, if it’s not, we’re going to look at disorderly. If it’s not disorderly, we’re going to look at the city ordinance.”

Later, an officer tells the group who was hanging the sign, “Right now, I don’t think you guys are breaking the law.” One officer cuts down the sign and seizes it, and audio is redacted as the officers speak to each other. An officer seizes one of the men’s phones and detains him after he attempted to lock his phone before giving it to him, telling him that he’s “attempting to destroy evidence.”

"Additional footage shows police executing a search warrant on the home where Schneider was staying. One officer can be heard saying, “Included in the warrant are Legos.” In the copy of the search warrant made public by American Fork Police, the search warrant is for evidence described as “any stolen merchandise, specifically Lego merchandise.”"

LUS digs deeper into Ammon McNeff and Legally Mine LLC

He finished streaming this just now. Really interesting points, especially regarding the “Lawsuit Protection” and pretty much deceiving people into thinking they practice law, legally.

Edit

The article he mentions:
"Asset Protection Firm Legally Mine LLC Found To Be Engaged In The Unauthorized Practice Of Law In Ohio"

Proof American Fork Police Department lied in their videostatement about their own bodycam footage

Cameron Paul says in their video that when an officer called the court to ask if a case was real, it was be confirmed to be real, and already served. You find this here: https://youtu.be/IcVmSQpIPRY?si=n5xL8_196mskRVqa&t=787

In their own bodycam footage that can be downloaded from their own youtubevideo, you will see the officer in question, where it is confirmed that the defended need to be served before a hearing date can be set. You will find it in the videofile called _Extraction_1_1_Axon_Body_3_Video_2026-03-10_1528_X60A9352Z.mp4

I have spliced the two clips togheter

EDIT: I see the filename with this call to the court is _Extraction_1_1_Axon_Body_3_Video_2026-03-10_1528_X60A9352Z(1).mp4 , about 1 hour and 22 minutes in the video, the one without "(1)", is from the same camera, but just none of the call to the court.
