I tried googling but I can’t pre buy tickets.

Hendaye (recommended)

• Take a high-speed train (usually TGV) from Paris to Hendaye (about 4.5–5.5 hours).
• Cross the border to San Sebastián:
  • Take the local Euskotren from Hendaye to San Sebastián (about 35–40 minutes), or
  • Take a taxi (around 20–30 minutes).

reason I want to pre buy is we have a restaurant booking (no other time or date available) and don’t want to be lining up for tickets in hendaye.

First time in Europe!
