I WFH, and my coworkers were complaining about people setting off fireworks a few days before the 4th instead of the day proper.

That got me thinking...I haven't heard ONE firework go off so far this year. That's very unusual. I don't live in a fantastic area, but people usually go pretty bonkers over the 4th, starting on like, the 2nd. This year, nada. Everyone's out here trying to afford groceries and gas instead. (Plus, what is there to celebrate, really?)

Anyone else notice the same in their neighborhood?
