Our dog sitter retired to the beach this week. We are absolutely devastated bc she was the best. We are on the hunt for recommendations for a replacement sitter.

Our pocket pittie is an anxious little dude who doesn’t do well with boarding facilities. We are looking for someone willing to stay at our place while we are away and who will spoil him rotten with endless scritches and attention.

I’ve seen a few folks on this sub recommend Kaitlin’s Kritters, so we’ll look into it. We’ve not had good experiences with Rover, so prefer not to go that route. Ideally we’d prefer to clone our previous sitter, but will also be happy with a reliable, animal lover looking to make a little extra cash on the side.

Long shot, but thought I’d try anyway…

Anyone missing a small dark brown canvas bag (possibly empty?), thick framed black glasses, and another item that could be a headphone case maybe?

Found among the yarrow along the sidewalk between Foster St and the Morgan St parking deck.

Apologies, I didn’t have time to investigate further as I was late for a date.

Our young redbud tree was used as a scratching post by itchy deer. I’m concerned that the deer damage plus our colder than average winter may killed the main stalk. It’s growing like crazy at the base, but the top looks dead. Is it salvageable? I really hope so… red leaf redbuds were always my favorite!
