Is Archer main good for F2P?

I will start playing next week and i have no idea what kind of troops to main.

I'm new to the game and planning to play as F2P

Hi guys i found some jumping project KD and will try to play all the way through the SOC. Is there any advise for me to keep up with all challenges ahead? And if there's any pros and cons besides i will ruin my life?
