a question for all my experienced brujas,brujos, and brujes(brujxs)
for context, I am also Latina and I am also a witch. and I was raised heavily around my culture, which also includes catholicism constantly in my life, but I also grew up around things such as Ocha (Santería, others call it Lukumi) and Espiritísmo. and they would work with Saint imagery whether by working with the actual Saint, or working with a spirit behind these saints like an Orisha(or where I am from, Oricha) but I am not initiated & while I have family that do practice, especially close family. it does not mean I can practice, so saints obviously exist, as in the catholic saint. but here’s the thing, I do not get along with the bible, and I have some issues & concerns with some of the practices. but another conflict is, I feel lost & conflicted. brujería is the only thing that brings me comfort because it connects me to my culture, but to work without the saints makes me feel disconnected. but, at the same time. how can I work without the saints but not utilize the bible? or in other words, get along with the institution of catholicism. if anyone can give me their perspectives, views, opinions, and what they do that would be helpful!

Para el contexto, también soy latina y también soy una bruja. Y me crié en gran medida en torno a mi cultura, que también incluye el catolicismo constantemente en mi vida, pero también crecí en torno a cosas como Ocha (Santería, otros lo llaman Lukumi) y Espiritismo. Y trabajarían con imágenes de santos, ya sea trabajando con el santo real, o trabajando con un espíritu detrás de estos santos como un Orisha (o de donde soy, Oricha), pero no soy iniciado y aunque tengo familia que practique, especialmente la familia cercana. No significa que pueda practicar, por lo que obviamente existen los santos, como en el santo católico. Pero aquí está la cosa, no me llevo bien con la Biblia, y tengo algunos problemas y preocupaciones con algunas de las prácticas. Pero O en otras palabras, llevarse bien con la institución del catolicismo. Si alguien puede darme sus perspectivas, puntos de vista, opiniones y lo que hace, eso sería útil!
