One segment was about a company that makes American flags with an emphasis on the multicultural staff working at the factory. Not a bad segment on it’s own.

Another was an African themed celebration with traditional African music and garb. People wearing and displaying the pan-African flag. No stars-and-stripes in sight.

Another about Latino influence on American, with gems like “1/3 of America used to be Mexico” and “we didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us.”

Another about Thomas Jefferson being a slave owner.

The obvious Doyalist answer is to distinguish each turtle with a bit of unique color. But why a bandana mask? It could slip and obscure their vision in a fight. What practical purpose do they serve? They’re giant turtles that live in the sewer so it’s not like the masks hide their identities.
