How can I accept kinning a character from a kid show?
Quick context, I was raised to think it was wrong for men to be interested in childish things if the targeted demographic is girls. I'm transmasc and I've been trying to let myself enjoy those things and teach myself that it's okay.
Most of my kins are late teens/adults that are from shows targeted to boys/men. But I started kinsidering Sofia, from Sofia the First, which has been making me feel weird about myself. I'd probably kinfirm her if I wasn't thinking this way, but it's weird for me to be a guy and kin a young girl from a show for ages ~5. It was a show I loved when I was younger, but I haven't seen it in years.
So, for anyone who's dealt with this or kins characters from kid shows, how did you accept it?
