Hello, does anyone know where I'm able to buy a bassoon on a monthly payment in canada? Long and Mcquade told us in person that to do monthly payment we were only able to do it for up to a year, and then it would fully have to be paid off. I'm able to spend around 500-600 monthly for it, but buying outright isn't really an option. I've looked into doing it from US dealers, but obviously that wasn't possible. If anyone knows somewhere I can do that, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Guys my end of year concert is coming up and I'll be one of the people who gets to say something on stage, I need a really good bassoon joke. I've tried looking online everywhere but they all suck and barely relate to the bassoon or just talk about burning/destroying it. anyone got any good ones?

Hey, I'm new to bassoon, around three months of playing and I'm auditioning for my provincial honor band. The audition is going very very well. I have to do a chromatic scale, where I run into problems. My d flat on the staff of bass clef is super sharp, I'm using the fingering of the first 3 holes, plus the low d key and the key just above the whisper key, I try to tune it but it not only comes out super muffled and weird sounding, but also super sharp and out of tune. Any alternative fingerings that will help or any suggestions?
