Rehab or Return?
i came across a red coach lexington briefcase for what i thought was a pretty good price on poshmark. i got her for $193 after shipping and tax. the pictures showed some small marks and scuffs but nothing too terrible. (im including screenshots)
however, now that i have it in hand there are way more scratches, pen marks and two big stains that were clearly hidden in the pics in the listing. Conditioning and cleaning it will probably go a long way but im not sure what these marks are or if they will come out. Also, does that look like an old spiders nest in the pocket? That was definitely not in the listing photos. 😒
maybe i got too excited and should have asked for more photos before purchasing but now im debating if i return it or try to clean and rehab it myself. Ive never rehabbed a bag before and would love any advice - especially for the web and stains!
what would you do? Return it? Or rehab and keep it?
