The way Sudeep treated Likith’s (commoner) parents on stage today was honestly disappointing. The constant questioning about “what was his mistake?” and repeatedly telling them that Likith could have done better just showed how much of an ego Sudeep has.
The unnecessary attitude, the constant aura farming, targeting commoners, and conveniently turning a blind eye whenever his favourites make mistakes is something he has been doing throughout the season.
And wiping his tears doesn’t suddenly make him a hero. You could have simply been honest and straightforward about who is actually playing well and who isn’t, instead of constantly defending people who put in zero effort.
