Album Tier List?
Now I hope this isn't too controversial, as we all love Jimmy's catalogue here, but I'm wondering if anyone's made a tier list of his records based on their own personal preference?
I've just finished listening to an album a day in June (fourth year I've done this). The first two years I went in chronological order, the third in reverse. This fourth year I've done it using a random number generator to pick the order. Here are my gradings. Hopefully people realise this is relative to his own catalogue and so not see a C or D as too harsh. I know for some people they'd not go below a B if Jimmy's their absoloute favourite. So I will say I still enjoy listening to the D tier albums for example. The F tier ones still have good songs too., just a fair number I don't. I'm also not a big Chritmas music fan. The only exception would be the two at the very bottom, which I genuinely don't like.
