I moved to kern county California about 3 years ago from Washington state, back home I would herp almost everyday during the spring and summer and I would almost never go home without finding several snakes, but over the 3 years I've been here Ive seen 2 snakes not DOR I've gone flipping, road cruising, hiking, anything I can think of during all times of year and cannot seem to have any success at all. Am I just going to the wrong places what am I doing wrong?
