I might actually be the cirqa's number one fan, but with that being said. I genuinely think it just exposed how far behind the Connect app is compared to competitors. Having that be my primary interface compared to my GF's OURA app im like wow holy shit this is leagues behind.

And before some fuck ass person gets on here and goes "well It's more about utility or blah blah blah blah" shut up and give me a break i like pretty things and I dont think the app presents well.

Looking for genuine opinions.

Started off my career as a MLE and leaned into statistical methods hard. (Not LLms or agentic gobbledeegook) although i do that stuff now i find that i just cannot compete with traditional swes at writing performative code or even leetcode for that matter.

Am I missing something?

Worked for some pretty massive companies as well as startups.

Is it smarter for a swe to become a MLE or vice versa?

Found this YouTube video of these kids demoing the densepose repo.

However, I believe there was a huge fuss about this being vibe-coded slop and not actually running.

This video also seems super suspect as the wifi is only detecting him and not the cameraman or anything else.

I have no idea when Cirqa is coming out. Does anyone use a Vivosmart and have a band that covers the face to use it as a bracelet? I want to go back to wearing my mechanical watches.

I do not want to use a whoop or anything else.
