Should I start with AAT Level 2 or ACCA Level 3?

Hi everyone, just some background quickly. I’m 17, looking to get in to accounting but Im a complete beginner. I wanted to know which would be best as I qualify for both. These courses I’ll be taking at a college near me since it’s free for me that way. I was told to start with AAT level 3 as a beginner however it seems I don’t qualify since I’m under 19. Please let me know any advice that could help create a pathway to accountancy or just helps with my dilemma right now.

Would a T Level be a good starting point to get in to accounting?

Quick intro before I start, I’m 17 and did half of my business btec level 3 before dropping out and taking a gap year, for which I got half of the qualification which was 1.5 a level equivalent. I got good gcse grades too which I can attach if needed.

T levels are new and I was wondering if there’s a point to doing it to start my path in accounting. I’ve applied for a level 3 ACCA course already however one of their qualifications is to have a related level 2 qualification, so if I can’t make it in with what I’ve got I was going to go for a t level. The t level would be 2 years but the level 3 ACCA would be 1 year, and I wanna get in to working or an apprenticeship but without any accounting related qualifications it’s been difficult to get a place on an apprenticeship. Please let me know anything that could help me out in starting out.

I want to get in to accounting

Hi everyone, just an intro before I get in to things, I’m 17 and I dropped out of my business btec last year in the first year of it which got me 1.5 a levels equivalent and took a gap year after due to some health issues.

Now being healthier, I wanted to get in to accounting but I’m stuck on what to do. I’ve applied for a course I found at a college near me which is level 3 ACCA financial and management accounting but the requirements are what I’ve attached, and I meet the GCSE requirements but in regards to the level 2 I’m not sure if my 1.5 a levels equivalent qualify for it. They sent me an email which I’m unsure of what it means which I’ve attached too.

Could anyone give some advice or some sort of step by step of what I should do?
