Anyone know why my siding coil nailer is leaving firing pin marks next to the nail? It's a Senco scn49xp.

I acquired this used with intention of using it to replace siding on my shop. Appears to be in good condition, I have only tested it on a 4x4 and discovered the firing pin marks. Works great otherwise. If I can't make nail cleanly, I will resort to shooting siding nails from my framing strip gun.
