I’ve been using the Even G2 and R1 for about a day, and I was surprised by how much battery the Even Realities app used on my iPhone.

what iOS battery usage showed

- Total battery usage: 171%
- Even Realities app: 89%
- Background activity: 5 hours
- Screen active: 4 hours 35 minutes

I’ve mostly been using Conversate, not constantly switching between features. The weird part is that the G2 glasses and R1 ring seem to have normal battery life. My R1 is also in Low Power Mode. It’s my iPhone that’s taking the biggest hit.

I get that Conversate needs audio processing, Bluetooth and some background activity, but holy shucks that this app drinks up my battery.

Has anyone else noticed similar battery drain on iOS?
