I don’t want to drag this out or fill it with too much mumbo jumbo but I’m a lifelong mycareer only player who dabbles a bit online. I work and take care of the fam, so I don’t play enough to grind all the cap breakers—and I’d like em for my builds. i’ll likely end up staying on 2k26 until the shutdown, so If you’ve got a max level crew you wouldn’t mind me in on before everyone leaves this game, hit my line. I’ll even offer a lil reward if need be.

I pre-ordered Starfield before launch. I was working part time, fresh out of undergrad and depressed as hell but spent the $100 bucks or so on the full premium edition pre order or whatever it was called at the time.

Contrary to many, I loved the game at launch. You could say that it could be owed to my anticipation of this being a Bethesda game, and my unending love for Bethesda games and their quirks. All the ‘nuance’ they come with. I remember vividly that I couldn’t wait to play what I imagined might be my favorite title thus far.

Even despite the ways it disappointed; it managed to deliver so much profoundly in as many others. But its greatest failure, for me, has always been the lack of good, functional melee combat. There is no sprint attack. You cannot move at all while attacking really, and the responsiveness is lacking.

These issues are well known and endured by us melee lovers. And after spending some weeks or so digging through the threads here I know that there are a number of bounties having been placed already, but none specifically for my preferred platform. I too would like to offer my own—$600 Bounty added atop or separately to whomever achieves it thus:

- “Free” or Fluid Melee Attacks during Player Movement, compatible with all melee weapons, and available/ported to the Xbox. Combat animations can be for 1st or 3rd person. I don’t care friends, I’m desperate.

Mod MUST be available on XBOX. Playstation/other platforms would of course be nice but payment will be issued for Xbox availability/functionality.

I don’t have a PC. I’m some guy who bought an Xbox some moons ago and hasn’t put it down since. I admit I don’t know or understand the difficulty of my ask, or what it requires to be done. But if $600 is any motivation, it’s what I got.

A few years and promotions at work has got me in a position to enable the modders and community that have always made my play worthwhile. I can be contacted here by anyone willing to take up the task; or for payment on completion. Please, save my Starfield experience.
