PSA: Check your (sway bar link) nuts

I was doing some maintenance (oil change, rear diff fluid, tire rotation, rust prevention spray) on my 2026 Ridgeline this weekend and discovered that my left rear sway bar link was missing it's flange nut and disconnected. First photo is rear right side with the flange nut and torque marking from torque check. Second photo is what I found on the rear left side after pulling off the wheel.

This truck has just under 5000 miles and was recently at a dealership for brake vibration issues (dealer confirmed front rotors were warped and resurfaced then under warranty). I called the dealer and there weren't any of these flange nuts available nearby nor could they give me exact size and thread pitch. Took me two trips to Ace Hardware to get a washer and nut on there. Dealer did suggest I call back on a weekday and schedule an appointment for a warranty claim to have them replace my cheap nut with the proper one, and I will also ask them to check the torque on all other connections of similar type.

All this to say, check all your nuts and bolts. A sway bar is one thing, but I'd hate this to happen to a tie rod end.

I do have a friend that used to work at a Honda plant and he said he'd heard Honda was having some quality problems at the Alabama plant where some of their bigger vehicles are made. I'm guessing this nut was either improperly torqued or maybe a different nut/washer combo is needed.
