Study environment

Hey guys, is it important to you to have a clean study environment? What does your study setup look like?

I am currently procrastinating by cleaning my desk and I am genuinely convinced it'll finally help me starting. Also, I'll hang my bulletin boards on the wall again, but I don't remember any time it helped for anything but visible timetable. Any meaningful to-do list was better seen straight on the desk. But I still have some time to procrastinate, so I'll try to prepare it for spaced repetition setup.

How to resolve the emotions behind the binge?

Hello, I need help. I can spot the binge, I can delay it or stop it at all. I can even stop it in the middle of the episode if I forget myself. I just don't know what to do instead of it. How do I process the emotions in the background?

If I stop the binge, the food noise doesn't disappear. It just hides and slowly grows until it gets all over me. Then I am so moody and emotional and I eventually give up and binge. Then I get relieved, my mood improves and people around me are happy with me again. Then it all repeats.

How to do it again? Any tips welcomed

Hey guys! In a month, I'll return to school after two years of break. I already got bachelor's degree and now it's time to fight to become an engineer. But the thing is, I am so scared. I burned out badly during my final exams and my study habits were never on top. Also, my once brilliant memory is nonexistent now because of the prolonged stress and insomnia. And now, I'll be working full-time on top of it.

I was thinking, maybe I should find a therapist, but my last therapist failed me greatly, so I am very hesitant. Recently, I started CBT self-treatment for the insomnia. It didn't help for insomnia, yet, but it helped for weightloss. So I am wondering if it can help for studying, too. Honestly, I believe my mindset is just poor and I should improve it.

As I said, I have something over a month to get ready, so I want to start slow. The problem is, I have no idea where to start. Can someone please share with me their success or failure stories? And any tips are welcome. Thank you in advance.
