Pedro Winter has been appointed Global Head of Creation & Co-Managing Director of Because Music France. A music producer, entrepreneur, artistic director, and a leading figure in the French electronic music scene, Pedro Winter joins the Because Music team in Paris. Founder of the Ed Banger label in 2003, he has built, through his deep-rooted electronic music culture, a catalogue of pioneering artists such as DJ Mehdi, SebastiAn, Uffie, Mr. Oizo, Myd, and Justice, whose albums and live performances have achieved worldwide recognition. Pedro Winter’s arrival at Because Music marks a natural and seamless extension of the long-standing strategic and artistic collaboration between Ed Banger and Because Music, which began in 2005.
