I really appreciate the posts from guys who got themselves a little old Mitsubishi to tide them over in a pinch and ended up falling in love with them. I had a 2006 Lancer OZ Rally that I let get away from me, and I've regretted it ever since. I'm definitely hanging on to this one (2000 Mirage DE sedan 1.8 liter 5 speed manual). 179,900 miles, and I still enjoy driving it. Got new tires (close to OEM size, 185/65R14) and new battery earlier this year. Completely stock, right down to the plastic wheel covers! Too long a story for this post, but I leased it new in 1999, bought it at lease end, sold it, and then bought it back when I had the chance. I'm not letting it get away again!
