Paediatrics at GMC Nanded
I may get paeds at gmc Nanded ,which is my hometown. I talked to the JR 1over there .There are 7 JR1 , out of which 1 left the seat , becoz she cannot handle the workload . 2 absconded same reason ,also the JR2 were being toxic to the JR1 not letting them sleep.One was at home don’t know the reason. Talked to a JR1 she was in PICU , she told me she hadn’t sleep for almost 4 days , she was sick with a iv catheter . Workload there is immense,JR1 there live in wards only , they don’t go their rooms ,there rooms is the ward only. JR 2/3 comes only for round and OPD. NO rounds are taken by professor .I also asked my friend who was intern there , he told the dept is toxic and no one looks over the dept.JR1 says no toxicity (but I sensed he was getting scared being caught by the senior talking to me)
Is it same in every Paediatric Department ??
Need an advice .Should consider Paeds at Nanded , becoz it’s my home town or should I choose other gmc , since it condition of Paeds at gmc is same everywhere .
